ISME Meeting of Junior Czech Microbial Ecologists
ISME is coming to České Budějovice!
December 11, 2026, 12:30 – 17:30
ISME Meeting of Junior Czech Microbial Ecologists is a regional annual conference sponsored by the International Society for Microbial Ecology (ISME), intended to give master's or doctoral students and junior postdocs working in Czechia an opportunity to present their research and network.
Organised for the third year in a row, this time the meeting will take place in the scenic South-Bohemian city of České Budějovice.
Supervisors are welcome to attend, but we ask them to give the stage to their junior colleagues.
Participants are welcome to present a 15-minute full presentation (including discussion) or a 5-minute flash talk (without discussion). Please note that your preferred format of presentation cannot be guaranteed.
The conference will continue as a networking dinner from 18:00 on campus.
Registration and abstracts
Registration is free of charge, but everyone needs to register (even supervisors!) since the spots are limited.
The template for presentation abstracts can be downloaded here.
Please send your registration (name, surname, affiliation, phone) and abstract before December 1 to ISMEinBudweis@bc.cas.cz.
